五四一高级技工学校于1977年经国家部委批准创办，是一所以机械加工专业为主的国家级重点技工学校，隶属于中国中信集团中信机电制造公司（五四一总厂），行业管理归山西省人力资源和社会保障厅。学校位于山西闻喜东镇，占地面积30.1万平方米（466亩），总建筑面积10.6万平方米。
学校主要业务有：技工学历教育（中高级）、成人函授（专、本科）学历教育、短期培训（创业培训、劳动预备制培训、下岗失业人员培训、农村劳动力转移培训）、职业资格（中高级工、技师、高级技师）培训鉴定等。学校设有数控加工、焊接加工、电气自动化设备安装与维修、机床切削加工、机械设备维修、电机电器装配与维修、数控机床维修、计算机应用与维修、计算机制版、酒店服务、汽车维修、幼儿教育等16个专业。
学校现有教职工141人，拥有理论和实践兼备的一体化教师66人，具有高级工以上职业资格教师60人。有1000余台（套）教学实训设备。现有在校学生3600人,毕业生就业率达100%、专业对口率达95%，教育教学质量逐年提高，连续十年被省人力资源和社会保障厅评为全省技工教育先进集体。建校以来，共为社会培养了4.6万余名技术技能人才。
The 541 Senior Technical school was approved by the National Ministry of China and founded in 1977, is a national key technical senior school, affiliated to China CITIC Group (the 541 Headquarters) and managed by Shanxi Human Resources and Social Security.The school is located in the Dongzhen Town of Wenxi County, covering a land of 301,000㎡, the total construction area is 106,000㎡.
The main majors of the school including Technical Education (senior), Adult Correspondence Course (college, undergraduate), Short-term Training (entrepreneurship training, labor training, training of laid-off workers and rural labor training), Professional (middle-level and senior technicians) Training and Appraisal. There are 16 majors: NC, Welding, Electrical Automation Equipment Installation and Maintenance, Cutting Machine, Machinery and Equipment Maintenance, Electrical Appliances Installation and Maintenance, CNC Machine Repairing, Computer Applications and Maintenance, Computerized Engraving, Hotel Service, Automobile Maintenance and Preschool Education.
There are 141 staff in the school in total, including 66 teachers. There are 60 teachers who got the Advanced Vocational Qualification. And the school owns 1,000 sets of teaching and training equipment. There are 3600 students in the school, and the employment rate reaches to 100% while the professional counterparts rate is 95%. The quality of teaching and educating improves year by year and was named as the Province's Advanced Collective Technical Education by the Provincial Human Resources and Social Security Department over 10 years consecutively. There are 4.6 million technical skilled talents graduated from the school and devoted to the development of the local society since the funding the school.
